“What a lifesaver Cold Crowns was for me right off the bat in my cancer journey. We had a very important family event scheduled for two weeks after I was to begin chemotherapy and my oncologist suggested cold capping as a way to ensure I’d have no hair loss by that day — still looking like myself and maintaining my sense of privacy was a huge concern for me at the time. I immediately contacted Cold Crowns as chemo was to commence in two days, and received a prompt return call from P.A. to set up a training session for the following day. “Because we happen to live in the same region as Cold Crowns is based, Ashley was in our living room by the next day to train my husband on the correct application of the capping system, as he would be the one accompanying me to all chemotherapy appointments and in charge of swapping out the caps. Ashley stayed until both my husband and I were completely comfortable with the process. We received a cooler ready to go for our trip to the cancer centre the next day with dry ice, the caps and all required accessories, along with some comfort items including an electric blanket, water bottle. “Cold Crowns is a supportive women-owned business that listens to and lifts me up every step of the way. P.A. continues to check in to see how I’m doing.
